It’s basically a Holocaust of transgenders in flyover country, to hear them tell it – mtf’s forcibly dressed by cisgender bigots in hideous prisoner jumpsuits that totally don’t do anything for their non-existent female figures while they work for a bowl of rice a day.
It’s, if you will, a Holiday in Cambodia.

“Today, the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) — the nation’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ+) civil rights organization — officially declared a state of emergency for LGBTQ+ people in the United States for the first time in its more than 40-year history, following an unprecedented and dangerous spike in anti-LGBTQ+ legislative assaults sweeping state houses this year. A new report released by HRC today — LGBTQ+ Americans Under Attack — details more than 75 anti-LGBTQ+ bills that have been signed into law this year alone, more than doubling last year’s number, which was previously the worst year on record.”
I remember the gays from the 90s back when I was a kid: they were generally depicted as optimistic, well-adjusted social renegades with good jobs, if perhaps slightly neurotic – like Will of Will & Grace fame.
That wasn’t so long ago, but now it’s all melodramatic violins played for themselves about “trans genocide or whatever.
