As spiritual leaders have for time immemorial, the Dalai Lama recently requested a young boy aside him upon his throne to suck his tongue.
It was very disorienting for the viewers at home and in the room, as it likely was for the boy himself. Most of the audience laughed nervously.
The audiences at Handsy Uncle Joseph Biden’s various public child-touching ceremonies react likewise. It must be the natural human response, or else the audiences allowed at these sorts of events are particularly morally degenerate.
It’s actually probably the latter.
Anyway, The Dalai Lama’s handlers, probably in consultation with lawyers and PR professionals, released a press briefing expressing His Grace’s remorse over the media’s misunderstanding of his behavior.
